Ceftiofur Sodium Injection

Broad-spectrum ceftiofur sodium injection, once-daily dosing for respiratory and soft tissue infections.

Pack: 0.5 & 1 gm vials

Composition

Each 0.5 gm vial contains sterile Ceftiofur Sodium equivalent to anhydrous ceftiofur 0.5 gm. Each 1 gm vial contains sterile Ceftiofur Sodium equivalent to anhydrous ceftiofur 1 gm.

Benefits

• Broad-spectrum bactericide, highly active against beta-lactamase producing strains sensitive to ceftiofur
• Longer half-life, so a once daily low dose of 1.1 to 2.2 mg/kg body weight is sufficient

Usage

• Calf, Sheep & Goat: 1.1-2.2 mg/kg body weight IM/IV
• Swine: 3-5 mg/kg body weight IM/IV
• Horse: 2.2-4.4 mg/kg body weight IM/IV
• Dog: 2.2 mg/kg body weight
• Or as directed by the Veterinarian
